Overview
Opened in 1962, Phoenix Zoo is one of the nation’s largest privately-owned, non-profit zoos. It’s home to over 3,000 animals, including 30 species that are endangered or threatened. The zoo’s 125 acres provide natural habitats for its inhabitants and a diverse experience for visitors.
